Daily Fix should remove the following, as it contains Cocamidopropyl Betaine:

  • Medium-Lightweight oils
  • Dimethicone
  • Dimethiconol
  • Phenyl Trimethicone
  • Amodimethicone
  • Peg-mod. silicones
  • Dimethicone Copolyol
  • Cyclomethicone

There may be some newer silicones out there that may not be removed by the Daily Fix. Also, if using mineral oil, castor oil or tons of product - then Curl Junkie recommends using the Curl Assurance Gentle Cleansing Shampoo.

  1. Not the best...

Posted by Rebecca on 27th Apr 2012

I dont know, maybe im the odd one. But this is tooo thick. I used half a bottle for just 2 washes. Back to tresseme naturals. Would not buy again.

  2. The best

Posted by Unknown on 12th Feb 2012

My hair feels so soft and the curls are so define is amazing. And my hair doenst feel stripped after cleansing

  3. Not for every day

Posted by Unknown on 30th Jan 2012

This is really thick therefore not for using everyday. It left my 3a thick curls over conditioned when using daily with another rinse out. I know some people use it alone so maybe...

  4. Best I have ever used!!

Posted by Unknown on 4th Jan 2012

None of the other sulphate free cleansers I have ever used compare to this. It cleans my scalp and hair very well, is VERY moisturing and smells really good! It's very thick but watering it down helps you to distribute it. Perfect for my 3b curls!

  5. Excellent cleanser

Posted by Singing curly on 20th Dec 2011

When I first started the low poo method I didn't like this at all. After having tried many other ( good ) cleansers and therefore armed with knowledge, I decided to try it again and I can't understand why I didn't like it in the first place! It really is an excellent product, extremely moisturizing, very cleansing and it leaves the hair so nicely detangled I'm not sure I need a wash out conditionner after it. The only thing I don't particularly like is the minty smell but I seem to be the only one disliking it so ignore me!
I would say that this is the best sulfate free cleanser I've actually tried. Talk about changing one's mind!;)

  6. Was afraid to try it...but Awesome results

Posted by Madeline on 22nd Nov 2011

This is the first product I buy from Curl Junkie and I am hooked. I used this as a co-wash conditioner as I am trying to alternate shampoo and co-wash on my 4ab fragile non-porous fine dry hair. It worked really. The ingredients are great.

    The smell: almost unscented.
The texture: surprisingly rich and creamy!
    The results: amazing.
I followed this with a protein conditioner this time (Aubrey Organics).

    I am won over.

  7. Works very well.

Posted by Michelle J on 1st Jul 2011

I have been using this product daily for a few weeks now and this is the best conditioning cleanser I have ever used. My scalp feels clean and my type 4 hair feels soft and moisturised. A definite repurchase.

  8. Fab daily cleanser

Posted by JoeyEmma on 16th Jun 2011

I love this cleanser- I've used sulphate free shampoos and light conditioners for CO washing, but none of them clean as well as this. My hair is 2c, normal porosity, normal texture. This cleanser is really thick and concentrated (one downside is getting it out of the bottle) but it distributes easily and cleanses well. It has a light fresh scent of peppermint, but not enough to make your head tingle, which I love. After rinsing my hair is clean, not coated and definitely not stripped of moisture. I love to follow with the Beauticurls Argan and Olive Oil conditioner.

  9. Simply the Best!!

Posted by Unknown on 21st May 2011

Daily fix is the best cleansing conditioner I have ever used. It leaves your hair so conditioned that you can go without a rinse out or a leave in afterwards. This is HG for me and I will always have it in my bathroom. Thanks Curl Junkie!!!

  10. highly recommended

Posted by Unknown on 18th Apr 2011

I don't usually use shampoo but this is great, it left my hair feeling cleansed but soft and not at all dry.

  11. Brilliant product!

Posted by Daisy on 7th Jan 2011

I've been searching and testing and retesting lo-poos for I don't know how long, and they all seem to have the same effect - dry but greasy, frizzy 3B curls. I'd almost given up hope until I tried this and wow... it's amazing! Very easy to distribute and massage into the scalp and hair, rinses very well and leaves my hair feeling like silk. Best of all my hair is not greasy, not frizzy but feels clean and moisturised. Fabulous product!

  12. Pretty good

Posted by Wendy 3b on 3rd Dec 2010

It cleanses my scalp and hair pretty good! I liked the way the mint made my scalp tingle. The only thing I don't like about it, is that you need so much to make it work and since it's a very expensive product...Eventhough I liked it, I wouldn't buy it again.

  13. The only cleanser I need to remove build-up!

Posted by CrystalTips on 31st Oct 2010

A few months ago, I was stressing as I hadn't found a low poo I liked. Thought I'd give Daily Fix a whirl as it had been getting great reviews. Thankfully, it is the only 'cleanser' I need to remove any hard water build-up I get from time to time. My only gripe is that it is quite pricey but as I only need to use it once a week and I love how mild and gentle it is, I can live with that! Works best if you add plenty of water (not to the bottle - to your hair) as this makes it easier to distribute and it will give a little 'lathering' effect. Great!

  14. Does the job really well

Posted by Bezerina on 14th Sep 2010

This is the only co-wash I've used (as I'm new to CG) but this smells great and seems to clean my hair really well.

I put it straight onto my wet hair and then gradually add more water by wetting my hands and running it through my hair to spread it out. I have 3b curls and spirals and I've no complaints at all about this.

I'm probably gonna try other products, but am really pleased with this.

  15. Finally - something for hardwater curlies!

Posted by oddityofwings on 26th Feb 2010

Britain's got two hard water problems: 1) it's impossible to make water here properly 'soft' and 2) all non-sulfate shampoos available here claiming to remove hard water deposits have soap, which just builds up - you end up trading mineral buildup for soap scum! Not so with Daily Fix - this just gets rid of the mineral buildup (and any other buildup you might have), and leaves behind soft and lovely hair. I found it a little hard to distribute, but I think it needs to be watered down slightly for the best use. As a sure-fire method of getting rid of hard-water buildup, it's well worth the cash. .
