Having ordered this on a whim after reading the reviews here I was very excited (less excited about the over priced delivery charge which is almost half the price of the product). I then saw other reviews in the BC forum which were not so promising so I emailed them described my hair which is a mix of curls, waves and some straight bit. My response was this will be great for my coils?
Product arrived and I used today. Felt odd just using one product in the shower and after, however so far I am truely amazed! It really is very nice. No tangles underneath, no fluffy frizzy bits (well a little on the crown) and very soft. Using in the shower it felt odd as it is cream like but I splashed a little water on my hair whilst massaging in and it lather a little, rinsed beautifully. So far happy days!

I love the fact that it is a light moisturiser but when sealed with an oil gives lasting moisture for curlier/kinkier hair. However if you don't want to use an oil its light enough to use daily as it doesn't build up. Its comparable to KCKT at a lower cost.

As a leave-in, this product is way too light for my 4b/c hair. I would put a ton of it in for it to feel like it was actually doing something. But it worked pretty well as a spritz mixed with water, oil and glycerin on dry hair. Doing this, the moisture lasted for a few days.

this leave in conditioner is okay, it smells nice, doesnt weigh my hair down and a little goes a long way, but its just not moisturising enough for my 3b/c curls. i also found that when reapplying the day after washing my hair, it made my hair feel sticky, which i suppose is because of the glycerin in it. i love darcys botanicals products, but i wouldnt use this again.

ooh i really like this conditioner! it definitely compares to the kinky curly knot today for me! i think it will go on rotation with KCKT and my Hairveda Whipped Cream Ends Hydration, i am really loving the way it makes my hair feel, moisturised instantly and it's not producty.
I have 3c/4a fine to medium, not dense, curls.

Excellent, especially for detangling. Really nice consistency which is easy to apply evenly across the hair. It could be a little more moisturising, but my hair sucks up all moisture and I'm walking around in cold, wet weather. I really like the Sweet Cream fragrance, although it doesn't linger.

I bought the Frangipani scented one back in July and it worked wonderfully on my 4b hair, mainly because my hair loves glycerin. I would use about a spoon ful on my entire head which may be a lot for some, but my hair needs a bit to soften up. Then just recently I decided to try the Juicy Peach scented one, but if you're looking for something that smells like peaches, this wont cut it. To me, it doesn't smell peaches, rather a faint smell of Aloe Vera (juice), but the again, I don't mind that. It did make hair soft, so I'll continue to use it.
Overall great product to use during the summer on medium thick 4b hair.

This is a lovely detangling leave-in conditioner. It absolutely melts tangles away. However, it seems to do very little in the way of moisturising once left in - though I don't know why, as the ingredients should be fairly moisturising. It reminds me in consistency and results of Kinky Curly Knot Today (even though the ingredient lists are nothing alike!), and is probably a nice alternative for people who like that. I prefer it for protective styling days because of the gentle hold it gives - when styling curly, it seems to leave me with a lot of frizz.

I tried this leave in on wet and dry hair and it is better as a refresher to dry hair or as an under layer to a sealant (i.e oil) On wet 4a/b hair it dries hard and desert dry as though you used no product at all which is very disappointing for those who are attempting to use this as their sole moisturiser. The product feels sticky and glycerin like on the hand, it looks like a serum but it doesn't feel sticky in the hair. I find it doesn't really attract moisture to the hair either. I think the glycerin content may be too much.
I chose the sweet cream version which smells like strong vanilla but dies down quickly to be pleasant. I feel that type 4s would have to use a lot of this daily to get any real moisture and so it isn't great value for money. I've had mine for about two weeks and it is three quarters of the way finished.
The biggest disappointment over this product is the extremely high frizz factor alongside the fact that it's moisture evaporates within ten minutes of application. I had extremely frizzy hair after usage.
I'd only repurchase if I was going to use it how I have been, as an in between wash refresher under a sealing oil. If you want a holy grail leave-in or moisturiser and you are a dry haired 4a/b then this is not the one.

This product made my 4a hair so soft and is a great detangler as well as a very good leave in. The scent is also a plus for me and i will be repurchasing.

I think this is a great conditioner. For my 3a fine hair it is ideal - it moisturises without weighing down and makes my hair feel really nice. It is well worth it price wise as a small amount goes a long way. I thought this would have been too much for my hair, but this is not the case. I used it yesterday and touching my still soft moisturised hair this morning reminded me to write this review!

I got a sample of this when I ordered my other Darcy's Botanical products ( Thanks Keisha-Jo!) and I think so far it's the only product I like.
the bottle is small but I have used it more than once and it's still about 1/2 full... for me that shows it will be good value for money.
my hair is soft, shiny and it smells nice. Smell is a major for me.
going to wait a couple weeks and then order the full size

I ordered this from the US and was so impressed; I have mostly tightly coiled hair (4abc in the Andre system and spongy LO in the Lois system) and was surprised by how moisturised it made my hair, my tight coils also had more definition (though it isn't advertised as a curl definer). A little goes a long way so it is definitely value for money
