I was expecting, because of its name, its consistency to be a bit lighter and more souffle'y but it really is just another liquid lotion. It has a distinctive fragrance to it, which I normally dont like since the ingredients that make a nice smell in my opinion are just extra unecessary products to built up in my hair.
The first and second time I used this item (in conjunction with Curly hair solutions Curl Keeper) I loved it. It defuzzed my hair like never before and I had shiney clumps like they had been professionally styled.
However, before the weeks ends my hair was lank and greasy from the roots to about 4 inches down the shaft and I was more rats-taily than spirally.
However, I AM transitioning at the moment, so this could have had some bearing on it.
Inwhich case, I would at least recommend against this product when transitioning. But otherwise, it started off incredibly well, and I would totally recommend it to a friend ;o) I would not discount that you might end up incorporating shampoo to get rid of it completely though. its ingredients list doesnt obviously list anything that indicates this, but I had to.
