I've used the system once every 6-8 weeks for a few months now. I really like it, after the first application my hair was already stronger and more elastic. It's definitely helped me retain more length with fewer spindly or split ends. My hair is also less dry/retains moisture more easily.
Cons: the scent of step 1 is unpleasant (an algae/weed like scent) but bearable. Step 2 is not the best detangler but a very good moisturiser. I sometimes add an oil to help with detangling though.

I use it once a month and leave step one for 30min and step two for 2 hours. It leave my mostly 4b head very super soft. No need to detangle afterwards as each coil is defined.

Ok, I'm sure you'll all agree that not all products are for everyone. So you've read the negative and here's a more positive view.
I actually like the two step!
I realised that I hadn't introduced any form of protein since I'd BC in January. So as my hair likes Hairveda products, I decided to use their version.
Step 1: I found that there was slip, in fact it slid on quite easily. It's fragrance free, but the smell that comes from it is neither unpleasant or otherwise. I kept it on for 10 mins. You don't need heat and you can keep it on from 5-15 mins. When I washed it out, my strands did feel stronger.
Step 2: The restorative condish smelt like orange ice lolly which I felt was nice. It wasn't totally without slip, and it was thinner that I'm used to in a conditioner. But it did what it was supposed to, it introduced some moisture into my hair. I did crack though and did a DC with another deep conditioner as I really didn't feel the same without it. That's the OCD in me. LOL
All in all, it did what it says on the bottles. I'll keep using about every 4-6 weeks.

Step 1
Pros
- My hair which was in need of some protein went from limp to springier with this. It seems like a medium protein.
- It was easy to spread yet nice and thick.
- Did what it claimed to do and my hair felt stronger.
Cons
- It smells awful
- Has no slip
- Isn't a particularly remarkable product
Step 2
Cons
- Didn't like the heady, overpowering smell that seems to be usual to Hairveda. I actually gagged at the scents of both steps.
- The consistency was neither thick nor thin yet there was zero slip, none. I couldn't comb my 4b tightly coiled hair with this product.
- No moisture - this left my hair extra brittle and dry. It contains too much aloe and glycerin which probably are not right for the current climate. I also think aloe leaves hair brittle.
Overall I disliked this system since it contains too many things my hair seems to dislike, there's no slip which is important with my hair type and it lacks moisturising ability. Step 1 was a little better and that's why I give it two stars in the hope that I can use Step 1 with another conditioner. However my short experiment with Hairveda hair products is over. Oh Step 2 is in the bin as it just didn't work for me.
