If it's been a few days since you last washed your hair, you might not experience a huge amount of lather on your first application of Hair Cleansing Cream. This does NOT mean that your hair isn't clean. If you desire a more robust lather, washing a second time through should satisfy your needs. For an even more in depth cleaning, leave the lathered Hair Cleansing Cream on your hair for a few minutes before rinsing it out. This cleanser is gentle enough to be used every day, and is perfectly safe for color treated hair. I also like using it as body wash with a bath poof it leaves my skin SO much softer than soap.

wow this product for me has become the holy grail of cleansing excellence hands down !! i have 3 spent years looking for the perfect hair cleanser since all my old sulphate and non sulphate shampoo's one by one ganged up against me and made my hair and scalp dry and itchy and flaky and in some cases caused my hair to shed ! even my well beloved conditioners i trusted betrayed me aswell lol ? hence i no longer use them after cleansing BUT i still DC before washing , sorry i digressed back to my JCC review .... this is the only thing that cleans , and conditions my hair without stripping it and stops any itchy or shedding or flaking i can run my fingers through my 4a hair whilst washing it .... 2 good shampoos are perfect for me and i leave the 2nd lather in for 2-5 mins before rinsing . my staple without a doubt .

really awesome cleanser, cleanses oils and dc's too, very moisturizing despite being a shampoo sort of, it even detangles my hair if i play with it longer. i got the citrus frangrance, i don't know if it is new, it smells like something citrusy logically, it is ok but i would get the fragrance-less next time. i would def recommend this cleanser, together with the hairveda amala rinse cream, both are amazing

I had originally ordered a sample of this product from British Curlies and loved it so much that I've now ordered the salon size bottle! This cleanser leaves my hair clean and soft and the consistency also makes it very easy to apply. In sum, I cannot fault this product!

I have a sensitive scalp and wiry fragile 4a hair that are natural and tend to get dry. I have used this shampoo weekly or bi-weekly and am grateful for this all-natural company and shampoo. My water is hard and the shampoo still foams up, leaving my hair and scalp super clean without drying. Highly recommended for the most sensitive curls. Also works great for my daughter's 3a hair. Cocomidapropyl betaine is a gentle cleanser and foam booster to remove dirt from what I've read on cosmetics books. The texture of the shampoo is like a gel and makes it easy to spread over kinks so I don't have to mix it with water to dilute it before applying.

I love this shampoo. I bought it after cutting off the ends of my relaxer. During that transition, I needed a gentle shampoo as my ends were extremely dry. This shampoo washes really well as it lathers but with all of its moisturizing ingredients actually leave my hair NOT at all dry and ready for my conditioner. I hear that one should alternate shampoos. I don't know if this is a rule that applies to shampoos with silicones or also to natural shampoos. That's the only reason why I would look for a second shampoo to alternate with.
