CURLING CUSTARD TM gives moisture and curl definition, hold and brilliant shiny hair all in one product!

It reduces bulk, defines & elongates your curls helping them to 'hang' better. CURLING CUSTARD TM will bring out the natural curl or wave pattern you never knew you had!

It is an advanced botanical formula made with ALL NATURAL ingredients that nourish and strengthen the hair. Utilizing the humectant properties of the Agave Nectar, CURLING CUSTARD TM will give weight to your hair, define your curls, remove frizz, provide long lasting hold and shine without ever being greasy, crunchy or drying to your hair.

This high performance product is very concentrated so a little goes a long way.

SHAMPOO - COME CLEAN

It is very important to REMOVE old product BUILDUP from your hair and start with a CLEAN SLATE. Oils, butters, grease, wax and silicone coat the hair shaft and must be COMPLETELY WASHED OUT. Residue and/or product buildup may cause white film or flakes.

DETANGLE - KNOT TODAY

Apply a generous amount and comb through your hair with a WIDE TOOTH COMB while it is soaking wet with conditioner. On tight curls DO NOT RINSE OUT. On loose curls rinse and leave a little on the ends.

STYLE - CURLING CUSTARD

On tight curls divide hair into SMALL sections and apply to SOAKING WET hair. SMOOTH each section with fingers from the root to the ends of the hair. If a section starts to dry RE-WET with water from a spray bottle. On loose curls hair can be damp and you can scrunch into bigger sections of hair.

ALLOW TO AIR DRY * DO NOT TOUCH * MAY CAUSE FRIZZ

i spent my life looking for this product!

From starting with green gloomy gel over 20 years ago I've spent my life and a lot of money looking for the perfect product. I've now found it, makes my hair look amazing, curltastic, full, humidity fighting - perfect.

The search is over, I use with Knot Today and I put some curling cream from another brand on the ends. I love this product and now, so do 3 of my friends!

I tried a sample of this and i remember it left my hair quite dry compared to ecostyler

Also because of the dryness my hair was much more tangled and wasnt easy to just rinse free of product using my fingers to release tangles

The smell is lovely but doesnt provide moisture for my hair alone and for the price i feel if im going to spend that money on a hair gel then moisture should be included without me having to buy a leave in

The only thing I can say is: try it. I have always put mousse in my hair and KCCC has nothing to do with it. Now my hair is more natural and shiny. It weights! Very nice discovery.

I tried this product last, only to find out that I should have started with this product. It's perfect especially for flyaways, reduces poofs, great results on 3c fine medium porosity hair. Thank you Kinky-Curly. Next time, I will believe the hype. great result with knot today but on mixed hair, found that it was even better with Jessicurl Too Shea under it.

I am new to dealing with my natural hair (3c)and have been trying different products. Got KCCC 3 months ago and I am pleased with the results. Of course I use other products as well to get the results I like. wash it with a gentle cleanser, I use Amala deep cleanse from hairveda then the moisturizer, once a week a deep conditioner and the final touch is the KCCC which i use in small amounts. Less is more, after 3 months my KCCC is almost full and I have a lot of hair. Again this depends on each persons desired results but i do wash and go because dont have experience with other styling methods. I use this product at least 3/week.

I can't give this product enough stars. It leaves my curls soft and well-defined (I'm a 3b) like no other. I also love the smell and although it's rather pricy, the 16oz jar goes a long way, so for me this product is worth every penny! PS. if you notice some white residue once your hair is dry it's a sign you've used too much product.
This is the most AMAZING product I have ever used!

I have fractal/zigzag curls, a mix of type 3b and c and this product works wonders for me, plus I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT amount of growth in the 3 months I have been using it. I say this because it literally takes me a year to grow about 3-4 inches and I have done this in quarter the time! It leaves my hair soft and bouncy whcih can last up to 4 days. Having said that, I do have a lot of shrinkage and it takes aaaages to dry and have had to help it along a couple of times with a dryer (after the 5th hr of drying). I found that for me, it's ok to use it on damp/wet rather than soaking wet and this also cuts down drying time. Extra info: I cowash and do a deep-treatment 1x a week with a mix of jojoba,coconut and avocado oil, rinse off and apply the KCCC for best results.
Acceptable - I can use it, however it's not the most ideal find

My hair type is 3c and requires a decent amount of moisture which this product needs more of. It smells like cake, however not in the most natural manner.

Adding more oil within the ingredients would be helpful.
Darcy's Botanicals works much better for me as it has more oils.

Also, I prefer products that keep my hair soft and that do not create cement like curls upon drying. I will use it, however I may stick to Darcy's Botanicals next time, or add oils to the Curling Custard.

I have heard so may good things about this product like everyone else and because of that I decided to buy. However, i was seriously disappointed this gel left my 3c/4a hair extremely sticky it did not define fine my curls but induced more frizz if anything...I’ll stick to my olive oil eco styler…
I CAN ACHIEVE 6/7 DAY HAIR WITH THIS PRODUCT!

I know everyone talks about the quest for finding their holy grail product, for me I think I've found it. In one easy to apply sweet smelling application, I get hair that is defined, moisterised, elongated yet bouncy with great volume. A woman stopped me on the tube only the other day to ask me what I use in my hair because her friend really struggles with her texture and I tapped kinky curly and british curlies into her mobile, hopefully there will be one more woman out there with no more bad hair days!

this product has made me love my hair, for years i have straightened my hairto the last inches of its life....now i wear my hair curly all the time and love it. i love the curl definition,the product smells great,so easy to apply. My 3C/4a hair loves this...i wish it came in an even bigger jar

Now, this is one original styling product. I must say it is Unlike Anything I've Experienced Before. It also cannot be compared to much out there (I tried the eco-styler gel after reading tons of comparisons between the two products, but there is no resemblance at all!). But then again, it all depends what you are looking for in a styling product.

I want a product that is very multifaceted, because I don't like spending too much time on my hair and I don't like to put too much products in my hair. I want the 'wash and go' -product. The KCCC can work on its own perfectly and I will get increadibly defined curls, while my hair will feel softer than it has ever done before (after scrunching out the crunch). BUT it only works for me the first day (at top the second day aswell), it is not good when reapplyed (and I really need some touchup in the morning, only water does not work), it does leave some white bits if combined with other products and I loose some volume aswell with it (and I want volume).

i bought this recently and used it for my thick but soft 4a natural hair. I applied at night to wet hair then twisted (about 10) but was unable to unravel twists the next morning as i could feel they were still wet inside.So the day after that i unravelled my twists and was pleased to see beautiful ever so slightly elongated defined curls. these were not the bigger curls that you might normally get from a twist out. Rather, my naturally normally tight curls (like a pen spring) were more defined, slightly looser clumped or grouped (in a nice way)with a little weight an no "poof". people did remark on how curly my hair was and i also got asked if i had got a texturiser. curls lasted for about 3 days before i washed out. did not get 5 stars due to drying time and the fact that i have nothing to compare it with but would definitely buy again when i want that look.
nothing else has worked for my hair..

This is the only styling product to date that controls the frizz on my type 3b/3c hair and leaves me with defined, frizz free curls.

Only down side is it takes AGES to dry your hair once you have used it and you get a lot of shrinkage as your curls go into overdrive! but hey its a small price to pay for great looking curls!

This is the ideal for type 4 textures. The smell is just wonderful!! On top of that there are ONLY natural ingredients in the bottle. So that is very a good point for me. My only concern is the shrinkage :-( and it takes me forever to dry... I use Knot today and then kinky curly. Another good point is it does not leave me with crunchy curls, and because of the Knot today my hair stayed moisturised. I keep my curls for about 3 days, depends on how I take care of them at night.
The best curling creme on the market at the moment - fact!

I've been using Bumble & Bumble products for few years and got bored of them - or my hair did, so I've decided to check out other products on the market. Came across the British Curlies website and ask for advice - I have baby-fine curly hair so can't use anything that weighs it down. They recommended 2 brands: Curl Junkie and Kinky-Curly. First I bought the Curl Junkie and hated it - full of chemicals - even the smell is chemically. Then I've ordered Kinky-Curly and thought I died and gone to heaven!!! I got the Come Clean shampoo which is gorgeous, Knot Today conditioner that leaves my hair soft and shiny, and finally the Curling Custard - definitely the best curling crème on the market at present!!! I'm 37, a mum, and lost loads of hair in my pregnancy, but after using this products my hair looks brand new again - just like when I was 18! 5 stars to all 3 products!

I use this product on my daughter's hair after having washed it and after having used Knot Today by Kinky Curly.
It beautifully detangles her hair, and makes it bouncy, so it makes the hair easy to comb and style.
Don't recommend using it before plaiting hair though, as it defines the curls and therefore doesn't make the plaits look nice.
My daughter has type 4A/4B hair, so it really brings out the curls, whereas normally she has "one big puff".
One thing I was missing was a bit of shine: the product doesn't make her hair look shiny, which is a shame, because I believe shiny hair makes the hair look healthy.

Have tried this in conjunction with Knot Today, makes a nice change to only be using the one styling product as previously I was using serum & gel & whatever else I thought might work on my Type 3b hair. A bit crunchy to be sure, but maybe I've not got the complete hang of it.

I have 4A type hair and this is definitely the only product that works for me. Can be a bit tricky to get your head around at first , but stick it out and you'll be amazed. It smells divine ( at sixth form people were constantly grabbing my head and taking a whiff) , strengthens and softens my hair and gives me curls that I never thought possible.I even have my curls after a rough nights sleep. For people who say its crunchy , It's not like that at all. It's quite gloopy and sticky at first but let your hair absorb it and its softer than silk.
