Product Description

KNOT TODAY TM is a creamy herbal conditioner and detangler designed to smooth the cuticle and remove knots, snarls and tangles from thick curly textured hair.

After washing hair, apply KNOT TODAY TM generously and work through troubled areas with a wide tooth comb.

Can be used as a regular rinse out conditioner for wavy hair or as a leave-in for thicker curlier hair types.

**TIP- When using this product as a leave-in, apply in the shower and rinse with a little water to evenly distribute the conditioner.

Ingredients: Mango Fruit extract, Slipper Elm, Marshmallow Root, Lemongrass, cetyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol and natural fragrance

GREAT DETANGLER FOR 3a RUBBISH FOR 4a

Used this after taking my 4a/4b hair out of braids to detangle..It did nothing! was disapointed so i used it on my son who has 3a/3b hair and was amazed by the results! his hair was quite matted (he hates having his hair combed) i was able to finger detangle the knots literally melted away! will be buying this for his hair not mine!

When I first opened the bottle I was disappointed as the conditioner seemed too translucent and thin to penetrate my strands, however, once I tried hit I was really surprised. My 3chair was the easiest it has been to detangle in almost forever, it also worked great on my daughters very long 4a hair. Moisterise wise it was average, nothing great nothing terrible. Smells amazing!!
Does wonders for my kinky curly hair!!

My hair is mainly 4a with a bit of 3c and 4b. I cannot get enough of this product. I use it as my base and seal it in with an oil and butter mix. It works perfect with other styling products. Other leave in conditioners I have used do not tend to work well with styling products they leave white flakes in my hair. It leaves my hair soft and moisturised.
Horrible! Never again!!

My hair absolutely hated this product! I have very thick, coarse, coily/kinky hair and this leave-in made my hair incredibly hard and dry! I also bought the come clean shampoo and that product also dried my hair out more that sulfate shampoos do. I am extremely disappointed in this line, will not be buying anything kinky-curly again.

I do however use only completely natural products and I love how completely natural it is and would keep buying it for this reason.
If they someday decide to change their formula to include some chemicals I'll be saying good bye!
So I give it five stars for its ingredients, though not moisturising enough, I feel like they just need to add some thing to it that would make it more moisturising?!

This product is amazing because once it's applied to very wet hair, it detangles hair so well and I would say my hair is 4a.

However, I wouldn't say it's a great leave in on it's own because I didn't find it very moisturising for my hair, if anything my hair kind of felt dry after using it on it's own so that I quickly had to add another product to my hair to make it feel ok and for me to be able to manipulate my hair.

It's great with the kimmaytube recipe, which is what I've been using it for for about a year now, however I find that the kimmaytube recipe breaks my hair, everytime I touch my hair with the recipe in it my hair would come off/break, so I've stopped using it now.

But I'll carry on using this leave in when I want to do simple wash and gos, with the custard over it. Amazing definition but horrible shrinkage, so I stretch it whilst wet.

I've given this product four stars only because it's great only as a detangler, if which you'll then have to use additional product for moisture, and great also under the custard for wash and gos. Also, it's a bit too pricey for people with type for hair because we have to use it generously, it would be nice to have the salon size at an affordable price.

This product is the best detangling leave-in conditioner I have EVER used. It leaves my hair soft and very easy to manage. I would recommend it to anyone.

I don't find this does any more than my conditioner does (daily conditioner moptop), so total waste of money.

After hearing a lot about this product I decided to give it a shot!
My expectations were high, however this product didn't do anything more for my hair, than any other conditioner would do. In fact I found it even less than some of the conditioners I have used (the detangling function of it didn't work for me).
Also as a leave in, my hair takes ages to dry.
Sidenote: I didnt used the whole range of products, perhaps that is part of the problem.

The reason why i like this product is because it actually works for my hair!
i've tried miss jessies and curl junkie and they worked, but only for a a short time, this has kept on working in my hair along with the KC gel.

Really loved this product. I don't tend to use gels so normally just leave conditioner on my hair as i preffer soft definition. So i used this product on it's own. My hair turned out very soft and well defined. Will buy again.

i have 3c/b curls, and thought i'd get fantastic results from this product. don't get me wrong, it had good slip, but to put it plainly i've had better! :) good moisture and i like the fact that it's natural, but i really wouldn't say it's the best on the market.

Love this product when not used alone. ( i use it as a leave in only)It leaves my hair very smooth to the touch, but needs to be mixed with other Ingredients. My hair is a mix of 3c 4abc and this product works well with with all three textures. My gripe is why isn't it available in a larger bottle? 8 oz is far to small for this fantastic product!!!

Ok, this product line is a must try and without a sample in sight, I bought the Knot today. It is the perfect detangler and moisturizer for my daughter's 3a curls because it does not leave any buildup and can be used under other products. However, on my ow 4a curls, it leaves my hair just wet. No moisture. Takes forever to dry. Then sits on top. I gave it 1 star because I believe that the brand should indicate that is is for 2a-3c curls. I now use Hairveda Whipped Ends Hydration and get both detangling and moisture properties for an incredibly reasonable price-this will allow me to be more consistent with my hair routine. I just ordered the Kinky Kurly Custard to see if that works on top to define my curls.
Very Impressed!

This product detangles my thick afro hair in no time at all. When applied to wet hair, the comb just glides through with little or no breakage. Best conditioner used so far! I'd have rated 5 stars but it's on the pricey side.
Additional - use with other leave in or try Kimmaytube recipe

Additonal.. You can use with other leave in conditioners (old/new)or try the kimmaytube recipe for natural hair this really works - give it a try - you will not be disappointed.

Purchased the KCNT a few weeks for my natual hair -WOW!!! This product left my hair manageable and moisturise(when using the moisture and seal method). I have used alot of top name products and the KCNT is the best so far. I had to purchase again this week - this will be a stable in my natural regime.

After a use the conditioner in my hair looked like I was touching in a cloud. Super soft, without tangles, with a wonderful smell and perfect curly padron.

1 word for it AMAZING, and as a leavin in conditioner is a dream come true.

I was dying to try this very popular product. Everyone around me has it and raves about it. My sister bought it but I had to have my own. To my great surprise, this product did not penetrate my type 4 hair and sat on top. Works better on type 3 hair. I really wanted to like it but...does not work. For the price paid...it's a bit much. I really wish more samples were available for all brands to enable us to embrace our curls.
