Scent could linger for longer

I received this with an order as a gift. I'm not a user of shampoo or body bars preferring the convenience of shower gels and creams. I tried this bar on both my hair and skin. On skin, it was quite stripping though it got the body clean. My skin may be a little dry for regular use. I only used a small section of the bar to wash but found it fiddly and a slight nuisance. Once the piece is wet and used once you need to find a place for it until next time. On dry 4b it was far too stripping but might be good for oilier heads. As for the smell, in the wrapper it smells intense and wonderful of a sweet vanilla but on the skin it lathers and smells like the White blocks of soap you get in primary schools with only a faint hint of the intended exotic vanilla scent. Were it more intense, I would purchase another but as it stands I will stick with shower gels.
