ok....Is anyone worried about the ingredients in this creme: Mineral oil! Paraben! Petrolateum! Beeswax! Glycerin! Animal protein (what's that?).
Saw the reviews....I bought it...tried it once...could not get myself to use it in the long term. I just big chopped before summer and my hair is finally growing back after my last horrible relaxer.
I prefer to wonder in more "natural" products territories regardless of immediate results.

Ok first the smell is lush. I love it. My hair smells so wonderful.
Back to what it actually does, it made my twists so defined and soft, amazing. I love it. The only thing is I would recommend that you don't use too much of it as I did the first time I used it because it can make your scalp very greasy. I still love it though. Beware however, that Miss Jessie's have changed the formula of this product so I don't know how the new product works. Massive thumbs up to British Curlies' Keisha Jo who was so kind and exchanged the new formula product to one of the old (I had taken advantage of the BOGOF and got one old and one new formula)
I likey, but its quite expensive so its prob not a sustainable habit to buy this product but until I find a replacement that works as well, I love it!
P.s. my hair is very very tightly curled - prob 4b I guess.

intially liked this product, but it is rather strange its impact is now less siginificant hair becomimg more drier. As m y hair is becoming more and more natural , relaxer is almost gone, it is not responsive to my hair any more. I have 4b /4a. So transitioners beware. So i dont really use it.

I ordered this product only because it was part of the BOGOF offer. I used it for two strand twists which I left in over night. I was over the moon when I woke up the next day - I have never left in my twists when leaving the house but they looked so good I was very tempted!!! When I unravelled my hair looked really healthy, shiny, soft and well moisturised. Best of all this product is not greasy at all!!!!! Fantastic!! The downside is that by the next day my hair was starting to feel quite dry again and even though I plaited and wrapped it at night the initial pleasing look had pretty much gone by day 2. I wouldnt really mind this too much but in view of the price I would have liked the effects to last a bit longer. I could see myself going through the 8oz tub quite quickly (I have thick shoulder length hair). In any case this is the best product I have used to date and I would definitely consider purchasing again. FYI I am 15 months into transitioning, type 3B/4A (I think!!). Ideally I would have given this product 3.5 stars!!!

This is what I call a moisturizer! The smell is wonderful, the texture is nice and it does what it says on the bottle! It is a very good product! worth to try! My only concern is it has animal protein in it. So if you are a vegan it might not be the product for you.

This is my favourite product on the MJ's line. Smells divine(like vanilla or something you could eat). It gives my 4a hair a great shine without greasiness and keeps my ends well moisturized.I found that it works even better on damp hair.

The baby Buttercreme is indeed the sweetest baby buttercreme period. Not only does it smell so good but it actually does what it says....Moisturise!! i have 4a hair and have been on the hunt for a moisturising product and i know this is it.
It makes your hair so soft as soon as you apply with a lot of shine. non greasy and a keeper for sure. oh and a little goes a long way i promise you that.
