THIS STINKS!

Its been said before Miss Jessies have excellent marketing. I made a review on my youtube channel Londoncurl on a few of miss jessies products.
I DID NOT LIKE THIS ONE AT ALL it was the worst the smell overbearing and the way it made my hair feel was an horrid experience i washed this out the same day it was put in.
I will not wish this on my enemy.
Watch out for the petroleum & mineral oil

This is a very popular American brand and the marketing is among the best. However, from a customer side, I must say that I am surprised that this product rose to the fame it did given the ingredients. I am now on a chemical free, petroleum and mineral oil free journey because these ingredients offer good hold and barrier (so acts like a seal) BUT need to be washed out with harsh shampoos like Sulfates! In addition, they act as barriers to moisture and don't let the hair breathe....So I got my sample...and I'll leave it there...regardless of promised define curls.
Nausea-inducing smell!!!

I'm not a fan at all of this product. The smell is overpowering. Its incredibly how strong it smells. The effect of the mint was to first make my head very cool, but then it started to give me a headache after a while and the smell made nauseous. Awful experience! I had to wash it out after a day because the smell was still strong and it was just making me sick. Sorry but its the truth. The Baby Buttercreme on the other hand, that's awesome!

So far this is my most favourite product when it comes to cornrows and twists. At first i used in in wet/damp hair which is ok but it works best for me on dry hair. It moisturizes so i dont need to spray with water while plaiting and it softens the hair too.I use it alot to smoothen my edges and it works perfect. The smell is a bit too strong pepermint/rosemary , in time i have got used to the smell but still i find it too strong.
You get what you pay for.

I have 4a/4b hair. I tried Miss Jessie's Curly Buttercreme before I found British Curlies and thought it was great but expensive. When I found British Curlies I was thrilled to find so many other products to try that were more economical. I have tried several that have left my hair dry, frizzy and lifeless. Curly Buttercreme works well on wet hair and is fantastic in the morning to revitalize my curls on dry hair. It leaves my hair soft and healthy looking. It has a great scent. I can't believe I am writing the first review for this great product. It may be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
