I really does like it it makes my hair shiny and so defined. But anyway most of Miss Jessies models use some they call a silkener i am not sure exactly how it different from a texturizer but i think it's a bit more mild. it also have sodium hydroxoid in it as a relaxer, offcourse not the products but the silkener! :)
and i dont like the fact that is has mineral oil in it.

Great definition and hold, leaves my curls shiny and bouncy. The scent is beautiful and lasts for ages.
I have been using this for approx 1 year- my hair does feel a little drier but with a good moisteriser you can counter balance that.
Price is a little steep, otherwise I would have given it 5*.

This products does not work for me as a curl definer, but I wasn't about to let this product go to waste so I tried to use it as a twist styling product and it works better than anything else I've tried! It leaves my hair feeling soft, moisturised and gives it shine! The trick is not to use too much of this product, you only need a little for it to work well. I recommend 4a/b hair types to give it a go as a styling product!

For the price of the product i was really disappointed!left my 4a hair REALLY dry and crunchy, even when i used a moisturiser underneath it

This left my very fine 3 a/b hair limp, frizzy with no hold whatsoever. Not one for me, I did love the scent though.

I have frizzy curly hair and after using this product my hair looks and feels amazing. My curls have more life and body. Best curl creme i have ever used.

after seeing the hype on the internet i was expecting great thing from this product. my hair was freshly washed when i applied this and i have to say that it did nothing for my hair! The feel of the products on your hands it very synthetic and it leaves ur hair dry and crispy at the ends this cannot lead to anything good it the long run!
To any future buyers plz buy the 2oz first. I gave the 1 star coz i liked the smell

I absolutely loathe this product! It's odd for me to buy products with bad ingredients like mineral oil in it, but due to the hype over Miss Jessies, I opted for the mini collection. Literally, every product I have tried from them has left my 3c/4a hair feeling soooo ridiculously dry, especially this one, even though I put a lot of moisturiser on my hair before applying. I attempted shingling twice (once with the unscented curly pudding), and both times my hair came out frizzy and dry yet greasy (odd I know). I really wouldn't recomend.

The first time I used the Curly Pudding, I had great results however, after consistent use I find the results rather hit-and-miss. My hair has lost its curl definition over time and appears dry despite my regular DTs.
I recently found out that Miss Jessie's products contain mineral oil which could be to blame since mineral oil (if used frequently) can trap moisture from entering the hair cuticle and thus creating dry hair.
I've stopped using the Miss Jessie's products since, and will only use the remaining products I have left on odd occasions.

I have a mixture of textures 4a being the most predominant. I usually use another product but this is soo much more effective..This product defined my curls well without product build up and added moisture without drying out later.I find it works best on my hair when it's quite wet.
The secret for me is distribution. You have to make sure that the product gets evenly spread throughout your hair.
I found that these steps helped me to get maximum curl definition and moisture:
1.) Sectioning off my hair into four.
2.) Wetting each section before applying the product.
3.) Running your fingers through each section after application.
I did have to use quite a bit because my hair is quite thick, but the thick texture of the product helped and the 8oz tub lasted surprisingly long... Also the smell is gorgeous!
Looking forward to trying twist outs with it but I do wonder if the Baby Buttercreme might be effective on my texture hair.
All in all a good investment and I am purchasing the 16oz next! :)

I tried this product and I wasn't impressed with it. I have 3b/4a hair and it really didnt do anything for my hair. I may try it again with maybe the twist out. I'm happy that I only bought the 8oz size.

I use it just once but it didn´t work on my 4a hair..But will try this again.

Considering the price for many of the Miss Jessie's products, I was expecting great results from the Curly Pudding but instead only found it ok.
I'm not sure how this product works for twist-outs, etc. as I usually use the finger-styling technique for definition. Its not very moisterising nor does it define curls any better than other products I've tried.

This product works very well in my 3c hair, It gives my curls a shine and a hold thats just right. I also found my hair was very touchable, a couple of times i had a few crunchy curls but after a good scrunch i was left with soft touchable well defined shinny curls, and the smell is just gorgeous!
