Product Description

Pure Silk Protein was originally developed as an additive to further the penetration of hair colour into the hair. The result is a protein enriched conditioner that actually reduces colour fading. Pure Silk Protein delivers the healthiest and softest hair possible.

Directions Distribute treatment liberally on clean, wet hair and allow to penetrate for 10 minutes or longer, then rinse out (no heat required).

Ingredients: DI Water, Isopropyl Myristate, Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Ceteareth-33, Cetrimonium Chloride, Silk Amino Acids, Jojoba Oil, Panthenol, Fragrance, DMDM Hydantoin, Lecithin, Citric Acid, Polyacrylamide.

These ingredients are Natural and Biodegradable. Not tested on Animals.

why the tangles?

id like to rate this higher, but the rise out is an major issue. ive successfully mixed it with curl junkies repair me to great success - the overall smell is sweet like gardenias. im a 3b botticelli and my hair is still frizzy after without product, but much stronger and curlier.
Great condition - a bit tangled

Overall a fantastic conditioner for my loose(ish), very thick, very porous, frizz-prone curls. My hair's relationship with protein is a bit hit and miss but this was not drying at all. After rinsing I use Pureology leave-in and KC gel; Pure Silk Protein gives much better definition and frizz reduction than my regular rinse-out conditioner. Only drawback is lack of slip - my hair was tangled where it is damaged at the front and needed some extra effort with the leave-in to seperate the curls. Overall fab tho, and worth the detangling time!
