Product Description

Too Shea is intended to be a daily rinse-out conditioner for dry, coarse hair, though I've heard from some finer haired curlies that it works wonders for them too. All right! It is pretty moisturizing, and may be too heavy for curls that weigh down easily. Since some people WANT their hair weighed down, however, it can serve that purpose as well. If your hair is at all damaged, this is a great conditioner for you. Too Shea! is also popular as both a leave-in conditioner AND as a deep treatment. So you can pretty much use it however you like. I’ve even used it as hand lotion!

  1. very nice smell

Posted by curliely on 23rd Dec 2011

however a bit runny as a consistency, i was expecting something more creamy. it did not work for a cowash for my 3b/c hair, however it conditioned nicely and helped to detangle alright. i got the maxi size, so i have plenty to use up ahead. it reacts real bad with glycerin tho, so i realized i could not use it for pre-poos like i'm used to. i had to modify my prepoo by taking out the glycerin. now i mix too shea with another/other oils by choice and dc for 2 hours before cleansing hair etc. it works quite nice this way. i would recommend it as a daily rinse-out condish as it is meant to be :)

  2. Excellent as a leave-in

Posted by JaneyLiz on 15th Sep 2010

I've used Too Shea as a co-wash, as an ordinary conditioner, as a deep treatment and as a leave-in. I've found it to be very moisturising for my course, dry curls and as a leave-in it was good, kept my hair moisturised and didn't feel 'producty' or sticky at all. And it smells great, too!

  3. I missed this!

I used to use this but then couldn't find a UK supplier. I have only just seen that you have it but have just received a bunch of Kinky-Curly stuff. However, I'll be back with Jessicurl just as soon as I can, as this is my No. 1 product. I love this stuff. And kudos for the larger bottles! very welcome
