Loading... Please wait...Too Shea is intended to be a daily rinse-out conditioner for dry, coarse hair, though I've heard from some finer haired curlies that it works wonders for them too. All right! It is pretty moisturizing, and may be too heavy for curls that weigh down easily. Since some people WANT their hair weighed down, however, it can serve that purpose as well. If your hair is at all damaged, this is a great conditioner for you. Too Shea! is also popular as both a leave-in conditioner AND as a deep treatment. So you can pretty much use it however you like. I’ve even used it as hand lotion!

Used as a deep conditioner it's really nice, so nice I didn't want to rinse it out and it turned out to be great as a leave-in. Left my soft and moisturised with a sealant over it. Couldn't detangle with it on its own though so had to knock off one star. I have 4b hair btw.

Worked really well on my daughter's type 3 hair. I use it both as a conditioner and keep a teaspoon for leave in on her long hair. I held back a star because it did nothing for my own type 4 hair.

I avoided Jessicurl products for ages, as many of them were very oily and the samples I'd tried had really left my hair greasy (my hair hates lots of oils). I tried Too Shea on a whim and I'm glad I did. It's a great daily rinse-out just jam-packed with moisture. The only place it really fails is in the slip department, but the longer its left on the more slip there is to be had. For those attempting to choose between scents, Island Fantasy is a sort of yogurt-and-honey scent with a citrus top note, and the unfragranced simply smells of the herbs in the ingredient list (a bit like your herb and spice rack, but very, very faint). Neither is unpleasant.

I didn't think this was anything special as a rinse-out conditioner, but as a leave in it is fantastic. Great slip when detangling, nice smell and visibly improves condition over time. Also really nice to use when blow drying under a heat protecting lotion.

This is a great deep treatment. I put it on dry hair and leave it on for about 1/2 hour. My hair feels really nourished and healthy.

My texture is fine-coarse with low porosity and I use this as a leave-in! It keeps my hair soft and moisturised and disappears instantly into my hair (this is great for people that have problems with product staying white on their hair).

I have 2b type curly hair so cannot use products that are too heavy as end up with greasy hair which will not curl well. I wanted something to use as a weekly deep treatment and this is perfect for this. Hair feels really soft and mosturising. Wonderful scent as well.
