Have a browse through our menu categories for topics we are interested in. Once you have applied to join we will give you access to the article submission form.

  • Curl typing attributes , tips and advice and tutorials
  • Personal journeys to natural
  • Product reviews and home recipes
  • Natural hair current news, culture, music, fashion, curl icons
  • Health and science of curls
  • Natural entrepreneurs who want to tell their story
  • Texture attributes

Word Count

We suggest to keep all articles to around 600 words. If you feel you have more to say we can split them over two or three articles.

Images

It’s always nice to have unique images with our articles where possible. Our featured image size is 848 x 565 pixels and the sliding homepage banner image is 880 x 460 pixels. If you would like to include extra images within the article please ensure they are uniformed –  (either all portrait or all landscape and of the same size).

British Curlies YouTube Video Submission

For bloggers, product junkies or natural enthusiasts who want to create a tutorial or product review (product must be sold in our shop) specifically for the British Curlies YouTube channel please submit your idea. For every successful video we will credit £15 to your British Curlies shop account.

Sending in your video Entry

Because video files tend to be too large to email we suggest using the following options:

Google Drive: If you have a Google account share your video to jenny@britishcurlies.co.uk Please select the setting ‘Can Edit’.

DropBox: Share file. Create an account with Dropbox

  • Format: MOV or MPEG4

Please include your name and email address associated with your British Curlies Shop account
